How we approach Steerable Reserves
Traditional round reserve parachutes save your life but leave you at the mercy of the wind, often dropping operators into hazardous terrain or hostile territory. We engineer highly reliable steerable reserve canopies that provide directed glide and flare authority.
The engineering constraint is packing volume. A steerable ram-air canopy requires more fabric and complex line sets than a simple round. We utilize ultra-low-bulk materials and advanced folding architectures to ensure these high-performance wings fit securely into existing pilot or tactical harness rigs.
These reserves must open faster and more reliably than primary canopies. We integrate specialized spring-loaded pilot chutes and free-bag deployment systems that guarantee clean snatches, away from turbulence or entanglement, even if the primary canopy is partially fouled.
