Counter-UAS

Protect critical infrastructure from symmetric and asymmetric unmanned threats using our multi-layered Counter-UAS (C-UAS) kinetic and non-kinetic architectures.

How we approach Counter-UAS

Airspace security demands robust detect, track, and defeat pipelines. We engineer advanced C-UAS systems combining AESA radar telemetry with optical tracking to precisely identify and classify unauthorized drone incursions. The sheer proliferation of cheap, easily obtainable commercial drones necessitates defense architectures capable of filtering out massive amounts of localized clutter.

Passive detection utilizing sophisticated Radio Frequency (RF) scanners allows our systems to quietly characterize the spectrum, identifying specific control protocols and telemetry links broadcast by hostile operators. We meticulously curate vast digital libraries of known drone signatures to instantly match incoming threat profiles against established baselines.

Our defeat mechanisms include surgical RF jamming, GPS spoofing, and automated physical interceptors that neutralize threats with strictly controlled collateral damage radii in highly populated or sensitive environments. Soft-kill methodologies remain the preferred first response, actively severing the command link to force an automatic return-to-home or immediate safe landing sequence.

However, facing completely autonomous, GPS-denied threats requires adopting kinetic hard-kill solutions. We integrate hyper-agile interceptor drones designed to physically collide with or cast debilitating entanglement nets over the offending aircraft, neutralizing the threat without firing explosive munitions over civilian infrastructure.

Managing false positives remains a massive engineering hurdle within the C-UAS domain. An automated defense system cannot afford to accidentally jam legitimate medical delivery drones or civilian helicopters. We employ advanced machine learning vision classifiers that decisively differentiate between a quadcopter threat and local biological avian activity.

Ultimately, effective C-UAS relies on deeply layered integration. A standalone jammer is easily circumvented. By networking disparate acoustic, radar, and optical sensors into a unified single-pane-of-glass interface, we grant physical security commands the undisputed situational awareness required to defend hardened perimeters against evolving swarm tactics.
